First of the Wimsey mysteries, we find Lord Peter established in his hobby of 'teckery - and quite the casual chatterbox he proves to be: clever and inconsequential and in it for the fun.It's the attack of shell shock, and Bunter's closing line after dealing with it, which takes these characters and lifts them to a fuller dimension.
