Linked to a much-earlier book, Too Many Cooks, A Right To Die takes another look at race relations in the US - doing a thorough job of making clear the implacable nature of prejudice.It also does a curious job of dating Archie and Wolfe. To see Archie doing his usual summation of the most attractive woman in the room, when that woman is a peer of the son of a man he met on an earlier case when that man was younger than him...starts to put Archie in creepy old man territory. Some time early in these books, Fritz must have served up a meal of immortality to explain how the world moves on but the residents of the brownstone do not.
