This is not a book about Josephine Tey, Detective, but rather about murder happening close to her. Most of the detecting is done by her good friend the policeman.I struggled to get in to this novel, especially during a sequence of head-hopping early on, where we are taken briefly through the pov of each of the main cast members. This settled down and I became more engrossed during the resolution, but never really compelled by characters or plot. Readable, but I won't be continuing with the series.
