Interesting but not quite compelling. The issue of class rears its head in this book and (like many other occasions in Marsh) although her characters repeatedly talk about reverse snobbism and pretend that class doesn't matter, there is a distinct sense of Top Drawer about some characters, and a distinct Lower Drawer about others.
